AN ORDINANCE

An ordinance abolishing the position of Chief Deputy Clerk/Bookkeeper in Muscogee County Probate Court; authorizing the creation of the Chief Clerk/License Supervisor in the Muscogee County Probate Court at Pay Grade 16; and authorizing the creation of an additional Deputy Clerk for the Muscogee County Probate Court at Pay Grade 12; and for other purposes.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.

The position of Chief Deputy Clerk/Bookkeeper in the Muscogee County Probate Court, Pay Grade 14, is hereby abolished.

SECTION 2.

There is hereby created a new position of Chief Clerk/License Supervisor, Pay Grade 16, for Muscogee County Probate Court with pay to be retroactive to April 28, 2014.
SECTION 3.

There is hereby created an additional position of Deputy Clerk, Pay Grade 12, for the Muscogee County Probate Court effective July 1, 2014.
SECTION 4.

All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
