WHEREAS, the grant period runs from September 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014.
That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to submit and, if approved, accept a grant from the Georgia Emergency Management Agency for $97,970, or the amount approved, with no matching funds for the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office to fund the purchase of equipment and equipment upgrades for the Columbus Hazardous Devices Response Team, and amend the multi-governmental fund by the amount awarded.
