A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the Development Authority of Columbus, Georgia has requested that the City notify the Columbus Building Authority that it is the City’s desire that the Building Authority release the property described in Exhibit A hereto from the Columbus Building Authority Series 2012B Bond Issue and convey said property to the Columbus Development Authority in furtherance of its goals of fostering economic development in Columbus, Georgia.
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to authorize the Mayor to execute and forward such a request to the Columbus Building Authority for consideration at its next meeting;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

The Mayor is hereby authorized to notify the Columbus Building Authority that this Council has authorized her to request the release of the property described in Exhibit A and the conveyance of said property to the Columbus Development Authority in furtherance of its goals for economic development.
