I. QUIT CLAIM PROPERTY TO JOHNSTON MILL LOFTS, L.P.:
Approval is requested to quit claim approximately .28 acres of city-owned property located adjacent to Johnston Mill Loft Apartment to Johnston Mill Lofts, L.P.
This request has been reviewed by the City’s Engineering Department and it has been determine that quit claiming this portion of property back to Johnston Mill Lofts, L.P. will not have any impact on the riverwalk. This property is already being utilized as a parking lot by the Johnston Mill Loft Apartments.
II. REQUEST TO GDOT - PROPOSED ROUNDABOUTS SPUR 22 AT LYNCH ROAD/TECHNOLOGY PARKWAY AND SPUR 22/MACON ROAD:
Approval is requested to adopt a resolution in support which recommends to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) to pursue the design and construction of roundabouts at the intersections of Spur 22 at Macon Road and Spur 22 at Lynch Road/Technology Parkway and participate in the maintenance and energy cost related to lighting and maintenance of landscaping after construction is complete.
III. LEVY ROAD - CLOSURE AND ABANDONMENT:
Approval is requested to authorize the changing of the Official Street Map and Tax Maps of the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia by officially closing and abandoning a segment of Levy Road beginning at the end of the official right of way of Levy Road and extending eastward to its intersection with the west right of way line for Benning Drive; authorize the coordination of design and construction of a permanent turn around with the property owner/developer of the parcel; reserving utility easements; and for other purposes.
IV. WHITESVILLE WALK VARIANCE REQUEST - 1312 WOODVILLE COURT - LOT 15 C:

Denial is requested for a variance request for platting and development of Lot 15 C, Whitesville Walk, to Article 8 of Chapter 7 of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) City Code Section 7.8.3 -Design Standards for Streets requiring the installation of a cul-de-sac when the logical extension of a subdivision is terminated.
Section 7.8.3.H requires the developer to provide a cul-de-sac for a dead end street where the logical extension of the street is terminated due to lack of future access to adjoining property. The 2012 Fire Code requires a turnaround for any access roads in excess of 150 feet. Engineering has consulted with the required departments with the Fire Department, Public Works being opposed.

V. E911 DISPATCH DONATION:
Approval is requested to accept a cash donation on behalf of Columbus 911 Dispatch from deceased citizen Melinda Mewbourne for 911 operations. Finance department will facilitate depositing a cash donation that will be used specifically for 911 operations.
VI. JUVENILE DRUG COURT GRANT:
Approval is requested to submit a grant application and if awarded, accept funds from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council for the operation of the Muscogee County Juvenile Drug Court up to $100,000.00, or as otherwise awarded, and amend the Multi-Governmental Fund by the amount of the grant award. The grant period is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019.
VII. FAMILY DRUG COURT GRANT:
Approval is requested to submit a grant application and if awarded, accept funds from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council for the operation of the Muscogee County Family Drug Court up to $300,000.00, or as otherwise awarded, and amend the Multi-Governmental Fund by the amount of the grant award. The grant period is from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019.
VIII.
JUVENILE JUSTICE INCENTIVE GRANT:
Approval is requested to submit a grant application and if awarded, accept funds up to $750,000 from the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council for the operation of the Muscogee County Juvenile Court and amend the Multi-Governmental Fund by the amount of the grant award. The grant period is from July 1, 2018 to July 30, 2019.
IX.
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN COLUMBUS CONSOLIDATED GOVERNMENT AND THE MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT - CONNECTION BETWEEN DATA CENTER(S):
Approval is requested to establish a management agreement between The Columbus Consolidated Government (CCG) and The Muscogee County School District (MCSD) regarding the development, management, operation, and security of a connection between DATA Center(s), owned by CCG, and DATA Center(s), owned by MCSD.
The expected benefit of the interconnection is to enable each organization to store data and to include use of each organizations wireless infrastructure to allow connectivity to each system. This will allow both CCG and MCSD to have their respective SSID’s (Wireless) broadcast where available.

XI.
ACQUISITION OF GEORGIA PORTS AUTHORITY PROPERTY LOCATED AT 800 AND 824 LUMPKIN BLVD:
Approval is requested to enter into a sales agreement for the property located at 800 and 824 Lumpkin Boulevard (021 001 001 and 021 001 002), and any residual rights along the riverfront, from the Georgia Ports Authority. The estimated cost to remove the tanks and other structures from the site is approximately $636,857, and the Georgia Ports Authority has agreed to contribute $300,000 towards these costs.

Ft. Benning Road Roundabout – RFB No. 18-0043
Scope of Bid
Option 1 is to construct the proposed roundabout at Ft. Benning Road, Brennan Road, and Cusseta Road. Project includes storm water infrastructure improvements, asphalt paving, sidewalks, and landscaping.
Option 2 includes the roundabout but also includes construction of the proposed streetscapes along Ft. Benning Road from Wade Street to Shelby Street. Streetscapes work includes new multi-use trail, storm water infrastructure, asphalt paving, and landscaping.
The choice of which Option is selected shall be at the sole discretion of the City and will be based on the funding available for this project. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive all technicalities and informalities

Chattahoochee Riverwalk Repair Light Poles 371 & 374
Scope of Bid
The project involves the reconstruction of failed sections of earthen slope between the Riverwalk and the Chattahoochee River in the City of Columbus, GA. Included in the reconstruction are the removal of the damaged vegetation, asphalt pavement, and any loose soils. Re-establishment of the slope will involve the installation of a type 1 rip rap buttress to support the type 3 rip rap stone to be extended across the face of the damaged slope. Upon completion of the slope repairs, any damaged sections of the Riverwalk will be reconstructed.
