An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district located at
1300 5th Avenue
UPT (Uptown) Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the same is hereby amended by changing the aforementioned property from UPT (Uptown) Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District:
All those tracts or parcels of land situate, lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, being known and designated as PARCEL 101 - 1.998 AC., as said parcel is shown upon a map or plat entitled "Replat of City Lots 536,537,538 & 540, Part of City Lots 535 & 541, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia" dated December 12, 2012, prepared by Hobbs, Smith & Assoc., Inc. , a copy of which is recorded in Plat Book 163, page 287, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, to which reference is made for a more specific location and dimensions of said parcels.
The above-described property is being rezoned subject to the following conditions:
1. Allow for a reduction on the front and side corner setbacks from 20 feet to 0 feet.
2. Billboards shall not be allowed on this property.
