MINUTES OF COUNCIL MEETING: Minutes of the September 23, 2014 Council Meeting of the Council of the Consolidated Government.

CONSENT AGENDA-

ORDINANCES:

1. 2ND Reading - REZN-6-14-1318 – Property located at 1042 Manchester Expressway is proposed for rezoning from RMF1 (Residential Multi-Family 1) Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District. (District 8- Councilor McDaniel) The proposed use is for a grocery store with gas sales and a shopping center. The Planning Advisory Commission recommends approval and the Planning Department recommends conditional approval.

2. 2ND ReadingREZN-7-14-1607 – Property located at 511 Illges Road is proposed for rezoning from LMI (Light Manufacturing/Industrial) Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District. (District 3- Councilor Huff) The current and proposed use is for personal services. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department recommend approval.

3. 2ND Reading REZN-8-14-1721 – Property located at 906 Amber Drive is proposed for rezoning from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District. (District 4- Councilor Pugh) The proposed use is for general retail. The Planning Advisory Commission recommends approval and the Planning Department recommends conditional approval.

4. 2ND Reading - An ordinance providing for the demolition of various structures located at: (5) 2ND Reading - An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 14-25 by repealing Section 33 of that ordinance in its entirety and substituting a new Section 33 pertaining to retiree health insurance; and for other purposes.
