AN ORDINANCE REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA BY ESTABLISHING A PARKING ANYTIME ZONE ALONG THE FOLLOWING STREET SEGMENT: LINDEN POINT BEGINNING AT THE NORTH CURB OF POPLAR STREET AND RUNNING NORTHERLY ALONG THE WEST/OUTER CURB CIRCLING CLOCKWISE AROUND THE STREET LOOP ALONG THE EAST/OUTER CURB AND HENCE SOUTHERLY BACK TO THE NORTH CURB OF POPLAR STREET; AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF OFFICIAL TRAFFIC SIGNS INDICATING SAID PARKING RESTRICTION; REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.

A “No parking Anytime” zone shall be establish along Linden Point beginning at the north curb of Poplar Street and running northerly along the west/outer curb circling clockwise around the street loop along the east/outer curb and hence southerly back to the north curb of Poplar Street.
SECTION II.

The official traffic control signs shall be installed indicating the restrictions described here within Section I.

SECTION III.
All ordinances and parts of any ordinance in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed.



Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held on the 12th day of March, 2013; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of said Council held on the day of 2013, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of Council.
