I. 2017 PROPOSED LEGISLATIVE AGENDA ITEMS:

Approval is requested for the resolutions for the 2017 Legislative Session of the Georgia General Assembly.

II. REVISED RESTORATION SCHEDULE FOR CLAFLIN SCHOOL:

Approval is requested to extend the restoration schedule with Friends of Historic Claflin, Inc. for the redevelopment of Claflin School to complete phase III by July 2017. If phase III is completed on time, then the restoration schedule will be extended for the entire project to be completed by May 2020.

III. UNUSED SICK LEAVE:

Approval is requested authorizing payment to employees for unused sick leave in accordance with 16B-15-6(2) of the Columbus Code of Ordinances.

IV. 2016 LOCAL MAINTENANCE & IMPROVEMENT GRANT (LMIG) FOR OFF-SYSTEM SAFETY PROGRAM:

Database 'e-CAP ', View 'Pending', Document '2016 Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) for Off-System Safety Program'

Approval is requested to receive the 2016 LMIG for Off-System Safety Program funds in the amount up to $160,000 or 90% of project cost for safety improvements at various pedestrian and trail crossings throughout the community, with a 10% match requirement.

Ready Mix Cement (Annual Contract) – RFB No. 17-0009

Scope of Bid

Provide approximately one hundred cubic yards of ready mix cement on an “as needed basis” to be used by the Public Works Department of the Columbus Consolidated Government. The contract period will be for two (2) year with the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods. This bid will be awarded to a primary and a secondary contractor.

Scope of RFB

Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional architectural, engineering and planning services on an as-needed basis. The contract term shall be for two (2) years with the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods.
