Analysis: The Community Reinvestment Department and Keep Columbus Beautiful has formed this partnership to host a clean-up event and provide landscaping assistance to elderly, low-income individuals and/or families within the Winterfield Community. These types of activities are allowable under the CDBG program. Financial Considerations: The City will provide up to $5,000 in CDBG funds to assist with the Winterfield Community Improvement Program. The CDBG funding is from prior year grant allocations. Legal Considerations: The City Attorney will review and approve the proposed CDBG Interagency Agreement prior to obtaining signatures. Recommendations: Approve a resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into a CDBG agreement with Keep Columbus Beautiful to utilize Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds in an amount up to $5,000 for a clean-up event that is taking place within the Winterfield Community as part of the Winterfield Community Improvement Program.
