An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district located at the north portion of 918 15th Street (1415 10th Ave) from LMI (Light Manufacturing Industrial) Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:

That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the same is hereby amended by changing the aforementioned property from LMI (Light Manufacturing Industrial) Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District:

All that tract or parcel of land lying in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia and being known as Part of lot 103, Part of Commons Block 16 and 17, and being more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at a railroad spike at the intersection of the Southerly right-of-way line of 15th Street with the Westerly right-of- way line of 10th Avenue and run thence South 01 degree 13 minutes 30 seconds West along the Westerly right-of-way line of 10th Avenue a distance of 62.96 feet to a point; thence run South 88 degrees 49 minutes 23 seconds West a distance of 68.96 feet to a point; thence run North 10 degrees 49 minutes 03 seconds East a distance of 64.30 feet to a drill hole on the Southerly right-of-way line of 15th Street; thence run North 88 degrees 49 minutes 23 seconds East along the Southerly right-of-way line of 15th Street a distance of 58.23 feet to a railroad spike at The Point of Beginning. Containing 4,000 square feet.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the 25^th day of March, 2014; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of said Council held on the day of _____________, 2014 and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
