An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district located at
7808 Whitesville Road and 1419 Double Churches Road
from
RO (Residential-Office) with conditions and NC (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning Districts to
RO (Residential-Office) Zoning District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department is hereby amended by changing the aforementioned property from RO (Residential-Office) with conditions and NC (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning Districts to RO (Residential-Office) Zoning District.
All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being Part of Land Lot 61, 8

District, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, being 5.60 ACRES, and being more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCE at an iron stake located at the intersection of the southwesterly margin of Grove Park Drive, a public roadway, and the easterly margin of Whitesville Road, a public roadway, and from said iron stake continuing thence along said margin of Grove Park Drive South 65 degrees 47 minutes 54 seconds East, a distance of 22.0 feet to an iron stake; continuing thence along said margin of Grove Park Drive North 24 degrees 12 minutes 06 seconds East, a distance of 22.68 feet to an iron stake; continuing thence along said margin of Grove Park Drive along a curve to the right, an arc length of 247.05 feet (said curve having a radius of 336.65 feet, a chord bearing of South 43 degrees 18 minutes 35 seconds East, and a chord length of 241.55 feet) to an iron stake; continuing along said margin of Grove Park Drive South 22 degrees 16 minutes 59 seconds East a distance of 132.35 feet to an iron stake, which iron stake marks the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing along said margin of Grove Park Drive South 22 degrees 16 minutes 59 seconds East a distance of 137.65 feet to an iron stake; continuing thence along said margin of Grove Park Drive along a curve to the left, an arc length of 245.67 feet (said curve having a radius of 316.96 feet, a chord bearing of South 44 degrees 29 minutes 17 seconds East, and a chord length of 239.57 feet) to an iron stake; continuing thence along said margin of Grove Park Drive along a curve to the right an arc length of 74.80 feet (said curve having a radius of 100.0 feet, a chord bearing of South 45 degrees 15 minutes 49 seconds East, and a chord length of 73.07 feet) to an iron stake; continuing thence along said margin of Grove Park Drive along a curve to the left an arc length of 37.23 feet (said curve having a radius of 90.0 feet, a chord bearing of South 35 degrees 41 minutes 58 seconds East, and a chord length of 36.97 feet) to an iron stake; thence leaving said Grove Park Drive running thence South 22 degrees 58 minutes 06 seconds West a distance of 52.15 feet to an iron stake; thence along a curve to the left an arc length of 132.61 feet (said curve having a radius of 830.0 feet, a chord bearing of South 18 degrees 23 minutes 29 seconds West, and a chord length of 132.47 feet) to an iron stake; running thence South 13 degrees 48 minutes 51 seconds West a distance of 160.86 feet to an iron stake; thence along a curve to the right an arc length of 60.28 feet (said curve having a radius of 770.0 feet, a chord bearing of South 16 degrees 03 minutes 25 seconds West and a chord length of 60.27 feet) to an iron stake; running thence South 86 degrees 56 minutes 41 seconds West a distance of 375.00 feet to an iron stake; running thence North 08 degrees 34 minutes 42 seconds West, a distance of 125.81 feet to an iron stake; running thence North 10 degrees 15 minutes 51 seconds East a distance of 210.00 feet to an iron stake; running thence North 13 degrees 17 minutes 37 seconds East a distance of 183.83 feet to an iron stake; running thence North 44 degrees 31 minutes 33 seconds East a distance of 129.31 feet to an iron stake; running thence North 03 degrees 37 minutes 44 seconds West a distance of 112.22 feet to an iron stake; running thence North 36 degrees 07 minutes 49 seconds East a distance of 90.93 feet to an iron stake which marks the POINT OF BEGINNING.
