Kissel Entertainment – Fall Fair Provider
Columbus Civic Center
: Approval is requested to enter into a five-year contract with Kissel Entertainment.
Kissel Entertainment was built on 70 plus years and 4 generations in the Carnival industry. Kissel proudly specializes in Kentucky Carnivals, Alabama Carnivals, Tennessee Carnivals, Ohio Carnivals, and Georgia Carnivals. Kissel Entertainment has been a leader in our industry. Helping pioneer the Kentucky Ride Safety Inspection Program.
: Kissel provides 40 midway rides, games and concessions for the Greater Columbus Fair held at the Civic Center. This will be the second year Kissel has provided the Fall Fair.
: The Civic Center profited $185,000 from the Greater Columbus Fair in 2016.
: Any multi-year contract involving this City requires Council approval.
: Approval is requested for the City Manager to enter into a five-year contract with Kisssel Entertainment.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A FIVE-YEAR CONTRACT BETWEEN THE COLUMBUS CIVIC CENTER AND KISSEL ENTERTAINMENT.
Kissel Entertainment has agreed to provide the Greater Columbus Fair at the Columbus Civic Center; and,
the Kissel Entertainment and the Columbus Civic Center shall uphold the recommended contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a five-year contract between the Columbus Civic Center and Kissel Entertainment.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus. Georgia, held the _____ day of ________________ 2017, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of _______________ members of Council.
