Analysis:
The annual specification of the minimum number of State inmates to be housed at the Muscogee County Prison is beneficial to both budgetary efforts of the Georgia Department of Corrections and the Columbus Consolidated Government in achieving their respective goals.

Within the agreement, the Georgia Department of Corrections agrees to pay the sum of $20.00 per inmate per day for the duration of the agreement to the Columbus Consolidated Government. These funds are used to offset the annual operating budget of the Muscogee County Prison.
Legal Considerations:
The Muscogee County Prison is in compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures and Certifications necessary to execute this Inmate Capacity Agreement.
